What's inside . . .

Welcome to the Texas Almanac, the premier reference for everything Texas.

On our site you can find information on various topics, including election results, records of extreme weather in the state, and facts about all of our 254 counties.

We’ve been a part of the Texas State Historical Association since 2008, but our roots go back to 1857. Visit our archives to see our earliest works, published by the Galveston News. The Texas Almanac print edition is published biannually. Our latest edition, Texas Almanac 2020–2021, is the 70th volume and contains feature articles about our evolving state demographics and Asian Indians in Texas.

Dazzle your friends with your Texas knowledge by downloading the 2018–2019 print edition for free, or purchasing a hardback or flexbound book for your personal library.
