Enrollments are for the Fall Semester 2015.

Enrollment in Texas public and private colleges and universities totaled 1,497,080 students, up from 1,481,581 four years ago. Enrollment in the 38 public universities was 622,154 students. 

Total enrollments for systems include extension and continuing education students. Founding dates are for the first year of classes. Systems and community college districts with multiple campuses listed are in boldface type.
